Hey friends and welcome!🌞 cooking Thai food in Thailand in an authentic Thai kitchen is such a cool experience! I highly encourage you to try out some Thai recipes in your own kitchen, they are so flavourful and delicious! The stirfrys were οΏΌ relatively simple to make and could be perfect for your next dinner or breakfast πŸ˜‰ lol!

if you have any questions please let me know down in the comments!

πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ³ MY COOKBOOK:
https://payhip.com/b/GPwUR

Pad see ew:

2 tbsp light oil
4 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp sugar ( light brown sugar is yummy but any sugar works! )
2-3 servings of Rice noodles ( thicker ones are better )
4 king oyster mushrooms ( optional )
1 large punch of choy sum ( sub for chinese broccoli or 3-4 baby bok choy )
1/4 small green cabbage
1/2 medium sized cooking onion
4-6 cloves garlic
1 block firm tofu
1 small red thai chilli ( optional – you could do half )

– place your rice noodles in a large bowl cover them in hot water then place a plate or lid on top. Set aside
– mix soya sauce and sugar together ( the sugar might not dissolve )
– slice your block of tofu as seen in the video
– add one tbsp of the sauce to your tofu and set aside
– slice your oyster mushrooms length wise ( optional – you can cut them in whatever fashion you desire )
– dice your onion, chop your greens, dice your cabbage, mince your garlic and chop your chilli
– heat a large pan on medium heat, add 1 tbsp of oil and cook tofu on both sides until golden brown. remove from the pan
– in the same pan put the last tbsp of oil along with the mushrooms, onion and garlic, keep this moving in the pan so the garlic doesn’t burn! After a minute season with 1 tbsp of the sauce and cook for 1 more minute until adding the greens and cabbage. cook until the greens have softened but still have a crunch to them ( about 7-9 min ) adding the chilli mid way through
– strain your noodles
– add your noodles and tofu back to the pan along with the rest of your sauce ( feel free to add a touch more soya sauce if needed! ) Mix together really well then serve

Pad Kee Mao ( drunken noodles ):

2-3 servings of Rice noodles ( thicker ones are better )
1/2 medium sized cooking onion
10-15 green peas ( the whole pod )
1/4 small green cabbage
5-7 baby corn ( canned or raw )
handful of choy sum ( sub for chinese broccoli or 3-4 baby bok choy )
1 small red thai chilli ( optional – you could do half )
2 cups of thai basil ( I made a mistake in the video! )
1 block firm tofu
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp light oil

– place your rice noodles in a large bowl cover them in hot water then place a plate or lid on top. Set aside
– mix soya sauce and sugar together ( the sugar might not dissolve )
– slice your block of tofu as seen in the video
– dice your onion, chop your greens, dice your cabbage, mince your garlic and chop your chilli. break the top and fibrous bit off your green pea pod ( as seen in the video ). Take the outside of the baby corn off and dice into large chunks
– heat a large pan on medium heat, add 1 tbsp of oil and cook tofu on both sides until golden brown. remove from the pan
– add the remainder of the oil along with garlic and chilli, keep this moving so it doesn’t burn! after 30 sec to 1 minute add your choy sum, cabbage and onion. season with 1 tbsp of soya sauce ( cook for 7-9 minutes )
– in the mean time collect 2 cups of thai basil and strain your noodles
– once the greens are cooked but still have a crunch to them add your nooodles to the pan along with the sauce, about 2 tbsp of water and your thai basil. mix together really well and serve!
